Join OKM Music for Opus No. 35 at the Circle Cinema Theater (10 S. Lewis Ave., Tulsa, OK 74101) on Thursday, February 28. Enjoy an evening of hors d’oeuvres, drinks, entertainment by Harmony Project Tulsa, and the showing of the 1995 film, Mr. Holland’s Opus.
As OKM Music enters its 35th Anniversary of bringing events and celebrated artists from all over the world, Opus No. 35 is a celebration of OKM Music’s rich history of community collaboration in Northeastern Oklahoma. “Opus No. 35 is the making of three groups coming together for a great cause: Circle Cinema Theater, preserving the art of the silver screen, Harmony Project Tulsa, working with at-risk students to bring music to their life, and OKM Music, where the music lives on,” said Grace Farmer, Showcase Director of OKM Music.
Guests can enjoy a social hour at Circle Cinema beginning at 6pm, with light hors d’oeuvres, various drinks, and great music by students from Harmony Project Tulsa. “Our mission at OKM Music is to make the arts accessible to all, especially through enriching music education. I’m excited that OKM is collaborating with Harmony Project Tulsa and giving these students an opportunity to perform,” said OKM Music Marketing Director, Ryan Martin. After the social hour, guests will enjoy a special showing of Mr. Holland’s Opus, starring Richard Dreyfuss.
Proceeds from Opus No. 35 benefit Harmony Project Tulsa, as well as OKM Music’s 35th Annual Summer Festival, held in Bartlesville, June 8-14, 2019.
